If you are having trouble distinguishing certain characters like I did, just open textedit or word and paste the quote there and change the font to where you can recognize the characters better. For me, copy and paste did not work so I just typed in each character.
Go back to your Key Generator window and input the request quote. Confirm that you have a ?connection problem? and ?activate offline?. Adobe Application Manager will pop up and ask you to validate your serial but will not detect an internet connection. After everything is installed, launch any application.
Input the serial and remember not to close out of the Key Generator! When the error ?Please connect to the Internet and retry? shows up, click on ?connect later?. Use the Key Generator, to generate a Serial Number. When it asks whether you have a serial or would like to use a trial, select ?I have a Serial?. Now verify that the following lines are NOT listed otherwise your serial will not work. Open your hosts file by opening a terminal window and typing ?sudo nano /private/etc/hosts? without the quotes.
